lol, wow wo wow wow… NFS shift is track only? and no city/free driving… not gonna lie.
pro street sucked ass. (personally because it didnt have that, and game play was shit too lol) but than undercover gave us back the most wanted feel… and who didnt like most wanted.
as for console NFS games, id say its

I think they should combine the feel of most wanted with the cops and the feel for the track aswell. I also hope they have the free driving around the city.
It better be fucking sick. If the guys that made GTR are on this, then I’ve got my hopes up high. The only real thing that I worry about is the sound effects/ tunning and customization.
I still think forza 3 will take the cake…as everyone agrees NFS has been a letdown eversince the good days of highstakes. Underground 1 was cool because it hit the hype of the glorified streetracing scene from Fast and the Furious but ended in epic fail with the sclupt your own ricer bodykit in the later variations of the game.
we all know it’s all about gameplay in these games… I’m not saying Forza is shit, but as far as I know GT was THE racing simulator… first GT came out in 1997 and it was for PS1. Meaning, they had a LOOONG time to adjust/improve the physics.
Forza is for all the kids that complained they didn’t have anything like GT on xbox… If they want to make that game good, they still got a way to go. We all know GT5 will not be crap and let’s not forget the car line up.
forza will have made 3 complete games in the time its taken GT to make a new one. it had better be good or i suspect that the rest of the gt fanboys will switch over.
and after playing the prologue, im terribly disapointed by the physics.
