Sold this 08 on ebay and charged $180 for shipping but that is not enough…
165 lbs which puts it over UPS 150lb ground limit, meaning it now goes freight for $325
FedEx only ships freight if its a business account, which its not
DHL is only international now:th_down:
Greyhound has a 100lb weight limit
Albany NY 12309 to Royal AR 71968
Thoughts/suggestions? need a professional company and this is a solid crate, not coming apart to throw it in a cooler or something.
Take 15 lbs of component off the engine and do 2 UPS shipment?
I was thinking that but really the only thing to pull off is the head, would hate to have to do that just bc ups is a pain
that crate must be adding some weight looks heavy. +1 on post above!

Just strap it to a pallet. Then wrap in plastic
The motor itself is over 150lbs the crate is only a couple lbs of 2x4

email the guy and tell him he needs to pay $325.
or contact all the other shiping companies around. dhl, fedex, usps, ups, etc and see what they think

Did you even read the original post?
DHL anything outbound must be international. He already was quoted by UPS, and FedEx requires a business account to ship freight. And USPS? Really? when did they start shipping freight? If you contact them and ask who you should use for shipping you really think they are going to tell you to use a competitor?
I shipped 12 wheels from here to California through Old dominion.
Strap on a pallet…$170 I paid.
ONLY issue, old dominion won’t ship to residential address…tell the dude you need his work address.
Some freight carriers will send to local non-business address though. Call around.
