Need help with wheel fitment

My truck 2012 gmc terrain
5x120
67.1 center bore
32-46 offset

I would like to but on procomp wheel
16x8
5x120
6mm Offset
2.85 center
4.75 backspace (main concern)
. Just dont wana look Like and ass when they come in and don’t fit

what is the width and backspacing on the existing wheel?

7 and 5.35 35mm offset

the wheels you say you want are going to be spaced out 3/4", and then due to the extra inch of rim will mean the face of the wheel is going to be sticking out roughly 1.75" further than the face of the stock wheel. So unless you have that much negative poke under your fenders, you’ll have fitment issues.

if you bought 22mm offset, the inner clearance would remain the same, and the additional inch of rim would be the inch you gain in poke towards and/or passed your fender. an offset of 20(pretty common for mustangs and such) would give you about an 1/8" extra clearance on the inside of the wheel, meaning 1.125" of poke towards and/or passed your fender. an offset of 25 would bring the wheel further into the wheel well about 1/8", so you’d have 7/8" of poke towards and/or passed your fender (if you have the room to tuck the wheels inside closer to struts/control arms/etc.)

if you’re confused, I always use this link to check my math…

it sounds like you’re confusing backspacing…the higher the backspace number, the further inward the wheel is going to mount on the car. the lower the backspacing number, the further the wheels are going to stick out from the car…

put the car up on ramps so the suspension is still compressed by the weight of the car and see how much space you have between the wheel and any suspension parts that may cause interferance and get a wheel that tucks in nice and close with about 1/8" to clear everything else underneath…worst case scenario…you can use spacers to achieve the stance you’re looking for… 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm spacers are all super common and generally cheap…

hope this helps

I think I should be alright with the tire near the fender
The tires on my truck are 245/35/17 I think and I wana go to
A 215/70/16 and i have about 4 inch clearance right now
I can prob grab a lift at a local shop I have to check it out

throw a level across the existing wheel/tire and measure from that to the fender edge…if its about 2" or more, the wheels you want to order will fit fine

Yea my tire has about 3" of clearance all the way around
