Ok so I want to get some new rims for my truck.
I have 1.5" wheel spacers currently and it makes my factory wheels pretty much flush with the body.
I want the new ones to stick out about an inch.
So idk what offset and backspacing combination I need.
The rims I want come in 4.5" offset with -5.00mm backspacing or
5.25" offset with 14mm backspacing.
Idk which ones would be right.
I plan on keeping the spacers, I just want a little bit more tire showing.
Elliot is going to be the man to ask on this.
Possibly Votblin as well.

Werd. Also ask some of the stance stunters on here.
Hopefully one of them will chime in. I’m sure Ron knows too.

the width of the oe wheels and the new ones would be a big help
need width and offset of your current wheels
what everyone else has said, then just plug in the info into one of the many offset calculators avalible online and it will tell u what you want to know.
Backspacing is all confusing to me.
and WTF DOES OFFSET IN INCHES. Stupid rednecks
whats the offset on your stock crap?
25.4 mm = 1 inch
You like what you have now so stock offset then subtract the 38.1mm and then you want an inch further out so subtract another 25.4mm. AS LONG AS THE WHEELS ARE THE SAME WIDTH AS THE STOCK ONES. you want something with a stock offset minus 63.5mm

I think he meant -5mm offset and 4.5" backspacing. That make more sense.

I know they are 16x7 factory width, but I don’t know the offset.
I think the new wheels are 17x8
