This forum has free spellcheck and you still came up with that?

One of your belts is probably loose/slipping or a drive pulley has shifted from where it should be. First thing to check for is the easiest. Just stop the motor and make sure nothing is rubbing against it.

If its more of a ticking and you can here it while your engine idles and faintly hear it at lower rpm than its likely the timing chain.

Oh I should probably have mentioned if it is your alternator, the bearings may be damaged, if you’ve confirmed the belt and pulley aren’t hindered or damaged.

uhhh…

uhhh…

car squeals like a pig. can it be the A/C? Belts maybe? I don’t want to cut one that I can’t change. Pully problem? I welded my alternator tensioner bracket. Can that be the reason why it squeals? My belts show no wear on the belt that I had taken off to look at. Maybe the alternator itself is causing it?

Check the tension on the belt.

with the name F****R BLUNTMAN…I ain’t surprised lol :wink:

did you weld the adjustable part of your alternator bracket?

Sorry, allow me to translate ;

Dude, get off the forum man.

I think we need to start having a proper reading comprehension and spelling test before any new members can sign up. This is just brutal.

LOL I agree +2

Can we ban this clown?

how would i go about confirming that???

by the sounds of it just get a new bracket. its not hard to change that. and to confirm a damaged bearing, if the pully shakes back to front or wobbles try lifting it up and down feel for movment.
