I will be going to Connecticut on Thurdsday to pick up my new vehicle. Here is my question. I will most likely be using a dealer plate to pick the car up and drive it back, however, i want to find out more info on whether or not CT issues temp tags or transit tags or anything. I have been searching the CT DMV site and havent really found any info of value. Anyone have any better info or better info finding skills. Any info is much appreciated.
Ooo, new slow & gayness. :snky:
And no idea.
No comment on the vehicle :snky:
must be the vehicle u told me about. :snky: :snky:
would u be able to call the dmv tomorrow and ask?
I bought my slo and ghey from there, but mine was private party. to get the temp tags I needed to have valid CONNECTICUT insurance, even though the car was going to be operated wholly in NYS. there is a form on their website:
http://www.ct.gov/dmv/cwp/view.asp?a=810&Q=245058
A current Insurance Identification Card, which can be obtained from your insurance company. The insurance card must be in the name of registered owner(s) of vehicle. If vehicle is being leased, the insurance card may be in the name of the lessee. An out of state insurance declaration page will be accepted as long as it meets the CT limits and the insurance company is licensed in CT.
make CERTAIN yours does, otherwise you will have to steal a plate and drive it back illegally, loaded with car parts. ummm.
