Need Saftey help!!!

Like it says, need saftey help. I Need to know the saftey guideline and wat will be looked for. ive talk to shops and they all say look on mto’s web site and nothings there. I know theres this giant book but they wouldnt lend it out.

So, if any one knows everything they look for, good. I know the mechanics get a sheet to check off butt they wont give it to me. Anyone can get me one?

please help, oh an dont be like them and say breaks, tires, ect. cut that doesnt say anything, i know you need a measurement( what is it).

Thanks

no holes every light on the cars extior must work wheels must be sucure on leaks in the breaks or fuel lines tire must have decent tread brake pads and rotors must be in good shapeno hole in the cab(where exhuast could get in) there is a huge list

tread lfe and brakes over %60

yea i guess the main thing is ive built in new floors but donno if i need to weld or if tack then tars ok. Also im boxing the frame in, i guess 20 gage steels alright welded through out?

kollo- would you know where i could get a hold of that huge list?

i guess main things i need to know is about body work and if the horn has to be in the steering wheel or can it be on a toggle?

anyone know anything else?

I believe you also need working e-brake.

20 gauge is really thin for a frame, i would suggest something thicker. as long as it can be lifted up on a hoist by the frame rails and has no holes, then it will probably be fine for a safety, but i would go with something thicker that will last longer. the factory frame rails are a lot thicker than 20 gauge.

pending on the shop and it’s owner/s some places are extremely strict. some are not.

as for holes in body/frame. as long as everything is sealed and shut. and i can not poke my finger/screw driver through it. body passes

i think this should be stickied

factory frames in japanese cars are just layers of sheet metal over lapped
