Need some Shipping help

I am going to attempt to buy my 3rd motor for the Supra this week. It is in CT (conneticut) and the owner is moving so its at a pretty good price. Unfortunately he has asked me to look into shipping and I have no idea where to start.

Suggestions welcome.

CT isnt that far. grab a pick up and go get it. Otherwise have the guy strap it to a pallet and call yellow freight

:word:

freightquote.com will find u the cheapest carrier for a given route:D

this is the only reply worth looking at so far:

They are excellent
Prices are excellent
I have shipped 4 trannies so far.
They will come to the guys house and pick it up.
It needs to be strapped to a pallet.
$10 Nylon/ratcheting tie down straps from Harbor Freight or Wallmart work perfect for this

If I remember right Engine freight class is 85

Thanks Jack.

I dont even think I would have time to drive to CT to pick up an engine in the next year let alone as soon as possible to pick this up. If any of you want to drive out and grab it and make some bucks…by all means PM me lol

+1 for R&L

Get it yourself. 2 drivers, make the trip in 1 day.

pm me some details…i can save you nearly50% on freight shipping. and FWIW…it is class 85 for engines…however, i can do it under a class 70 which is alot cheaper.
