need wiring help wit s13 redtop sr20

my car is running very weird it has a mind of its own…wen it feels like it, it runs good but hit a bump or wen engine is cold it runs super rich something tripped ecu to go in safe mode. sometimes wen it warms up i shut engine off and restart it right away its runs norma againl, i noticed wen its running good idoling vac at 20 but wen its running in safe mode vac is 15.
the guy that installed my engine didnt hook up the dianostics part of the wiring so i cant get any codes form the ecu.

has anyone done wiring for an 89 240sx with s13 redtop? ill pay someone to complete the wiring on my car so i can get the codes to see wats throwing off the ecu

Punctuation man!

Could be an O2 sensor, MAF maybe, possibly a coolant temp sensor. If its intermittent, especially when the road gets rough test your connections and check to make sure no wires are rubbed trough or grounding out, it seems like something is loose. If you can find a way to get the car scanned that may help allot.
