I agree Kevin. I understand some people are freinds with him and wanna protect him but the fact is street racing is illegal and he had a pending case which should have really made him think twice but obviously he hasn’t learned from it and now this happened. Not saying i agree with manslaughter charges however its a crappy situation and they are going to throw the book at you.
At the time of the crash, Mejak had a pending case in the Town of Lancaster for a previous charge of unlawful speed contest. He had been given a one-year adjournment in contemplation of dismissal in September, meaning that the charge would be dismissed if he stayed out of trouble for one year.
That adjournment has been revoked, and that case now will be reopened, Clark stated.
He got off easy the first time, could have learned from it and stayed out of trouble. Alot of people street race, some get caught, some don’t. Bottom line is its illegal and dangerous, this is definately a worst case senario
I think it is fine. Someone who doesn’t know their own car races and dies, o well. Chris didn’t kill these people, he didn’t even force them to race. Have you ever got a speeding ticket? I’m assuming you have. So lets say you hit someone speeding. Should you get manslaughter? You’re going 8mph over.
I said the family thing to make my point clear, not to pick on someone’s family in particular. To make it clear I have no disdain towards anyone’s family. It was a point to say he doesn’t deserve this, and if you can’t understand why, I group you and your entire family into that bracket of society whom can’t freely and intelligently think for themselves. I think think that the kid should be charged and jailed for a second offense in a speed violation. I do not think he should get manslaughter charges. He did not run the person off the road. He did not hit the person. The guy driving the mustang was responsible for killing himself and girlfriend.
I do hate society and how everyone has to blame someone for their actions.
It has nothing to do with frank clark. They couldn’t charge him with this if it wasnt written in the penal law. Everyone saying Frank Clark is being to harsh or doing this to make an example or for publisity is WRONG. Just cause your the DA doesnt mean you can make up laws. These are real penal laws, if it didnt match the book they couldnt charge him, and this kid will be charged.

First Dejak is 100% guilty, the only reason they didnt get another ME’s opinion is because she served 13yrs already, thats the max she could serve for manslaughter. And Cappozzi was positivly identified by 3 women who were raped by sanchez.
Aside from all this, even if both were not guilty, who did the investigation? The police…Who indicted them? A grand jury/ and or judge. Who finds the guilty/not guilty? A jury. How can the DA’s office be held responsible when all they do is take the evidence thats been colleceted from a police dept and lay it out in front of judge and jury in a court room. They make no decisions!!
Yea, he did blow off a lot when he was driving. Now that I have an srt swap i see why. That turbo is constantly spooling. Mine will blow off at 1/4 throttle not even in boost.
yep, stock with a bov will make noise one pretty much every shift… i have the same situation with my 240sx since it spools so quick. doesn’t mean he’s “racing” or showing off lol
