Neon Driver Charged - You know him! With Pic

i was wondering what they were doing about that. damned shame its still an 1/8th, lol

:frowning:

Learn to not Suck ass at driving… and hit shit and Die with your GF in the car with you who clearly needs to bleach her roots

/disclaimer… im drunk

I think they just want to make a point about street racing, at most he can be charged with illegal street racing, speeding, etc… but he did not force the other kid to do so…And neons only reach 118:biglaugh:

humor, too early?

Impound and crush the cars, that is all that will stop it.

i agree on that, but honestly, i kinda think its harsh, but then again he was on probation for previous speeding.

harsh man but at this point its water under the bridge

LOL @ all the people wanting this kid to fry when they have probably street raced themselves/driven like assholes in traffic, etc.

:word:

My '95 went 155 just fine :eekdance:

my head hurts

well it seems most ppl on here want him to not get those ridiculous charges but so far every one not on nyspeed seems to agree with them. i personally do not but it might show that he may have trouble going to jury. hopefully he gets some kind of deal but the way the media has been playing this he is prolly gonna end up as an example, just like they are trying with hogan’s kid.

best of luck to him

oh fuck i know that kid, he use to come into autozone when i worked there. i think charging him for manslaughter is way way over the top.

Those of you that don’t think there is legal ground for the manslaughter/negligent homicide charge, what if the Mustang would have hit another car and killed some innocent people? What about charges for the Neon driver then?

Lots of precedent there to make the case. You and I agree to rob a liquor store and I end up killing the clerk. You wanted nothing to do with that, but since the murder happened during the commission of a crime that we both agreed to (just like they both agreed to this race) you’re now facing a murder charge as well.

It’s definitely an interesting legal case, especially for someone like me who’s always had an interest in law and has a tiny bit of training on the subject.

DISCLAIMER: I still don’t like the charge as it stands because the only people who were hurt were the people racing and put innocent lives at risk. Just explaining that I can understand how Frank Clark came up with the charges.

^dumb, still wasnt the neon that hit a car, it would have been the other drivers fault once again. the neon driver didnt push the pedal in the mustang. the mustang driver could have easly let the neon kid just take off.

im so sick of kids on here talking about oh “i never street race” or “street racing is dumb i dont do it” you are fucking lieing to yourself and everyone here if you claim you have never street raced or didnt enjoy racing someone on the street. There is a fucking kill story thread, im sure none of those races in that thread happened at the track

i put my fucking life at risk when i fucking step out the fucking house everyday and so does everyone else.

I first read this thread and saw neon and mustang. I thought to myself, I most likely know the neon driver. Now I see that it was Chris. I hung out with him a few times. Sucks he is getting those charges. I hope that they get dropped or at least some less harsh of a punishment.

no offense to the deceased (and pardon if this has been covered) but if he were alive the minute he woke up he would be looking at charges. say…he lives girls dies or even if they both lived…or what if he ran into a group of ppl etc etc…then clark would make an example of him and we prolly woudnt hear to much about the neon kid. either way we all have free will to make are own fawking decisions and pinning these deaths on the neon driver is overkill. if i were to roll up to you. we race i crash and die what would you want?

too many car guys on here sympathizing with the driver of the neon. this is what happens when things get real. this is real life. this kid is fucked, i doubt these charges will get completely dropped. here in erie co with mr. clark, someone has to pay for whatever happened, and this kid was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Yes but in that case arent you guilty by association? Possibly the neon driver would be in this case too, i just cannot understand how they could charge him with homicide? he did not use his vehicle as a weapon that would have caused the other driver to swerve and die…(which would be vehicular manslaughter i know). this gets more and more confusing as we talk about it.
