So I was on road x tonight on my way home from a nice evening in the falls with the lady (she was following me home in her own car). anyway, we pull up to this light and I see hid’s in my rear view and start chuckling to myself. then I ask the girl if she wants to see me race this dude. well, he didn’t seem very interested in racing, but I decided to egg him on anyway. instead of lining up, he decides to do a ricer-style flyby and pass me. I downshift, catch up to him and line up. we start going (now either the guy didn’t know how to drive, or his car sucks worse than everyone thinks it does) and he shifted before I even got to redline. we were neck and neck, and then he started to slow down…
then I saw the lights in my rearview. cop pulls us both over, gives me the usual “you know the guy in the vette? what the hell were you doing? who’s car is this?” walks away to talk to the other guy, comes back 10 minutes later and says “are you fucking kidding me with this thing? you’re not even in the same class as him! if you’re gonna race, you should race someone that’s gonna be worth it” lol
ha. no tickets. fun night. good times. not positive but I think the other guy may have gotten a ticket.
so wait…after all the stuff going on with street racing deaths etc… you get pulled over for racing, and the cop let you go? what town was this? i’m shocked really
JDMjunkie and myself got pulled over for racing in tonawanda. we both got imprudent speed tickets, we both also got 75 dollar parking tickets and school for it.
