I rented a Canon T3i and a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 from BorrowLenses.com for two weddings I’ve got (one last weekend and one this weekend) so I thought I’d snap some pics of my car with the improved hardware. Here is the result:
Erm…my bad. I meant 7D. 5D is out of my budget for now. 7D is probably as expensive as I’d be willing to go as my revenue isn’t high enough to justify a $2,500 body.
So between a 60D (~$900) or a 7D (~$1,200)…which would you rather have given the price difference. Is the $300 or so worth it?
I love my 5D Classic but the larger screen, automatic sensor cleaning, and high ISO performance of the 5D Mark II is better for my hand held style of shooting. After I use the Mark II more I’ll give a better opinion.
A friend of mine once said “I would rather use a point and shoot than a crop camera” I dont know if I would go that far, but there is a difference, I can notice it in your photos from last year to now too, Dan.
Photos tend to be as I previously said, more dynamic. I noticed less noise/pixelation, high ISO noise is less noticeable. If you stare at two photos taken with a crop and a FF you can see subtle differences.
Gotchyaa. I wanted to get the 5d Mark II, but it was a little over budget. And don’t make any money taking pics yet lol, soo the 60d seemed like the next best thing. Now I just need some quality glass!! :ahh
