Just picked this car up and its in near mint condition. Its a pretty quick car that has been well maintained and should be fun to work on.
Enough with that small talk and on to the pictures…
i will take more pictures when i get a cleaned up and can take a look at it.
heres a video of an autocross event that it was raced in. http://youtube.com/watch?v=DDOcUdcSp-8
note that he was 3.5 seconds slower than a 94 viper rt-10. I might believe that but im going to find out when it gets here.
I am selling my 86 mazda rx7 gxl. It has 133k miles, that averages less than 700 miles per year.pw windows, pw sunroof. i have recipts dating back to the early 90’s. I believe i am the 4th owner. It has the 13b 2rotor wankle engine. Feul injected, 4.10 possi rwd, 5 spd trans, runs and drives excellent. This car was very well maintained. Interior is in great shape considering its age. ONLY a 2 seater. Full exhaust system from the headers all the way back. New Catalytic convertor i just put on 2 days ago. the motor is clean and runs excellent. does not burn oil. oil changed regularly at 1500 miles. Its suggested the oil be changed every 1500 with a rotary engine. the car is all wired up for a system and includes jbl 6x9s and a (1000?) watt jbl amp mounted behind the drivers seat.
This car is a sports car and was designed with performance in mind and not fuel economy. I average around 20 MPG. The car drives and performs so great
All you gotta do is start buying parts from boldt before he completely loses his mind. You know…that rx-7 in high school that all the morons thought was gonna be up and running and “so fast” and “so sweet”. Get some of his turbo stuff man, and make this thing rip!
thanks man, im new to the rotary world. my dad used to own a 79. He blew the engine in it and thought he could tear it apart, little did he know that it wasnt comming apart. He replaced the engine, then things went bad. Hopefully this one goes good, we have some plans for it, but none that include a turbo anytime soon. My dad wants to keep it clean and somewhat stock, so i wont get to go too crazy with it, but you never know.
i wont say how much we got it for, but it SHOULD go for somwhere around 3500- 4k. pictures dont really do this car justice at all. Seeing the condition and driving it is what really makes this car.
i need some baffling sp? for the dual exhaust, it screams since the exhaust is all aftermarket and theres a new cat. its louder than my civic when vtec kicked in with a gasket leak.

Did no one else read this?
2008 - 1986 = 22 years
22 x 700 = 15,400
Actual yearly mileage is more like 6,000 miles. (Maybe the guy used 21 years and forgot a zero? I used 22 due to the fact 2008 model years are now available.)
