VCT? you mean CVT. the CVT is junk in the audi’s the DSG is one fo the nastiest semi-auto transmissions made. if i didnt enjoy having a clutch pedal id buy a DSG car.
So Jay…question, how is it you dont have time for 5/6spd with your work but ya can play with paddleshifters? Im really thinking the RS4 is everything your lookin for minus the paddle shift. They may even have a manumatic option…
the RS4 only comes in manual 6 speed… the standard S4 comes in auto/ or stick… Jay is gonna have an Evo X MR with the twin clutch paddle shifter
New evos are gay imo, too big, tacky looking and wayyy too much $$$. I did see 1 white one that was done up and had no wing that i actually kinda liked…
i saw a white one with some gold wheels in CT, but i still dont like them, but the evo 8&9 only cam in manual… that mangino dude brought a white one to mcd’s that one night and i couldnt get over the sticker price on it… 42k as equipped… no way.

Id say fuck the paddles, they are cool but i don’t think it should be a determining factor in buying a car, id rather have a nice car that is comfy and fun as hell then a crap car with the paddle shifters…thats just me though, and I’m not the one buying a new whip lol

Manually shifting an automatic is fun once or twice but after that its pretty stupid unless youre on the track.
My mom’s car has the manual mode for the automatic and its really pointless.
Cause I sometimes, smoke, drink coffee…always talking and writing and texting etc etc… not an option.
Point here was simple… an AWD drive car so I can do all weather… paddles or similar for the occassion I want to be spirited or even track the bitch for giggles, or let a friend to get them into it… and around 17+ mpg as a plus.
I need to go drive a bunch stuff now… the Evo isnt my style looks wise, but a good car that fits all my desires…but not likely due to styling. The CTS jumps to damn near 50k once you add Navigation…just redicilous for a 6cyl… I am not paying 40k for any Chrysler product…though the challenger is hot… its not awd. I havent looked at infinities yet and the benz’s r too corny in the small series stuff.
Whats left…drive Infinity…SMG Beemer, Saab, and keep looking otherwise. I was excited about this a few days ago, but none of the options excite me.
