New Gas Degrading?

is like new gas degrading too fast ?

or did they add water to it?

it seems like everyone’s having idle problems lately…

the geneeral problem seems to be at the cold start moment

I’ll try to explain mine…

ok for the max

it starts fine… but when I shift it into gear and press the gas… it hesitates… like gargles for something… and it basically won’t respond to the trottle… and after like 30sec to 1 min. it returns to normal and I get on my way… it happens every morning…

now for the 200… everytime I start it from a cold start… it runs fine for a min… but when I rev it up… it start to stutter just like the max… and get this… when the it stutters… water gets blasted out of the exhaust…
like literally water, not gas, but water, you would think that it’s just water that condensed inside of the exhaust… but it shouldnt be it

like how can water in the exhuast, in the cat or muffler… enough to block air flow that can cause the engine to stutter and be unresponsive to throttling… well after the stuttering ended… the engine started to knock a bit… only after do I rev it up and the car heats up that the knocking stops

and both cars had this problem at the same time, like 2 weeks or less ago

and now at the tech section… more poeple are having the same problem, w/ 240s too

and if I’m not mistaken, Gonad is having this problem too?

but yeah… maybe I’m freaking out… lol I dunno

B240 needs a new TPS sensor. Thats what happens when it dies.

When I was running the same gas I had before the problem started, as
the tank almost emptied, I had TONNES of water spewing out my exhaust.

At one point I drove off and saw like a 60ft trail fo thick water trails.

When I was revving in my driveway, there were seveal times I saw like
20-ft streaks of water behind my pipes.

I put in a full tank just recently and although I don’t see the water problem
I still have the bad hesitation/stalling.

And FYI, I did replace my TPS last weekend. Still no dice.

I had the same symptoms of a crappy idle, and hesitation when you first press on the gas, and the TPS is what regulates that. I changed it and it was great.

Its so funny that everyone is having these problems. I too suffer from a cold start problem and after the car warms up my idle is above 1000rpm.

Im working on it right now actually. Just did a pressure test, fixed some leaks, cleaned the AIV, now its onto timing.

where is the TPS sensor so I can replace mine, mine used to sit at 750 and not move but now its dropping down to like 500 and back up, its driving me nuts.

Look to the left of the throttle body. There’s a black device. It’s held by
2 screws.

I found it easy to disconnect the TB and move it forward to get some
leverage, and then use pliers to turn the screws initialy to crack them.

I do not know, my car boots right up on cold start, to hesitation or anything.

Maby it is just a select few that are having the problem
