What’s good? Found this forum, lurked for a bit to see if it looked like it was just a bunch of douchebags, saw it wasn’t, and signed up.
Seems like a pretty decent place, and I’ve seen a bunch of your cars at the lot before. I’m 19, live in schenectady, and go to school in Utica. You might have seen my car, I drive a silver '97 accord sedan with yellow HID’s. Its pretty much stock at the moment, nothing done to it except a set of factory alloys off another car, system, an intake (pretty much just for noise), the HID’s, blackhoused headlights, a rod knock, and a transmission cooler that will be needed later on.
Plans for the car include dropping it 1-2 inches, sway bars, bigger brakes, a new bottom end, and finally installing the turbo kit I put together before the motor started to shit itself (small turbo, trying out a rear mount setup because they sound cool and it hasn’t been done yet on cars like mine). Eventually a manual transmission swap when I blow up the slushbox. Appearance wise, its getting body damage repaired (hit a deer with it, then it got hit during my senior year of highschool while it was parked) repainted the factory color, the lower front lip off a 94/95 accord, new foglights, factory sidemarkers, light tints, and that’s about it. I like keeping things subtle, and I don’t care if people think my car looks stock.
Haha, well, by dbags I more meant dbags who would annoy me. I am myself a dbag as well. Collective douchebaggery among dbags who find each other more or less agreeable makes for a good time.

good shit. Anything I do to my car, is really done just to make me like it more. I don’t agree with the whole idea of building a car so you can show it off to people. At that point, you arent building yourself a car anymore, you are building it for other people.
I’ve just about got the stereo where I want it, and for the $450 I’m into it it sounds better than a lot of systems I’ve heard that have two or three times as much into them.
Car handles decently for what it is, and the coilovers and sway bars this summer will hopefully get that where I want it.
Mostly, the 130hp just isn’t gonna cut it. If I can get it to 200 or so at the crank with nice early spoolup, it should at least be pretty ballsy. Its my daily, and my first car. I’m not gonna do anything crazy to it.
