the article says that the new comp. has a “no burnouts allowed” program…which will suck for the after market…
lame…way to go ford
:ugh:
no burnouts??? how homorific. could you imagine if silverws6 owned that car? he wouldn’t know what to do.
haha…i didnt read the whole article yet…but i think it said the no burnout thing is based off the o4 f-150…too stop strain on the motor and drive train…and they siad the 5spd has one down fall taht sucks for power shifting
u mean if it’s a 5speed?
I would assume that could be programmed out though?
isn’t that called ‘traction control’
it’s probably the ABS module… just rip the fucker out… if not, it might b e like european cars and closing the Throttle body… still, that can be circumvented with a multimeter and some time…
no burnouts did neone see the video that was in the multimedia section awhile ago?
yea that stang did nothing but light them up
NO…its not…its a code in the computer where u have to shut it off…soo far the only way is via laptop
what does the computer do… get out of it’s seat, walk over to the tires and stop them from spinning?
think about it.
hahaha
"the EEC-ECU in the 05 mustang, which is very similar to the echnology introduced in the 04 F-150, uses torque management to sense potential “abuse” to the engine and drivetrain-like burnouts and power shifts that are flagged when the computer detects egine rpm that doesnt match driveshaft or wheel speed. this is accomplished with an electronic throttle that rmeoves all physicl linkage between ur foot on the gas and the throttle blade. "
“sophisticated electronic engine management might essentially lock out the performance aftermarket”
“the electronic throttle control also pulls the throttle back partially when the enigne is shifted at WOT to protect the drivetrian from shock with the die effect of preventing power shifting.”
ya…and smacks u in the head for being an idiot to
you are such an asswipe…
this was all from hot rod mag.
the company that got the stang into the 12’s says but the time u read this…the will have a chip out to turn off speed limiters bump fuel and timing curves and compensate for speedometere error and tun off the “traction control”
cill dude…just joking around like you r
