i would imagine you would want that cryo to be before that sensor… don’t see why it would throw a code. the car doesn’t throw a code in the winter when the air is cold does it?
No My concern was due to it being so close to the throttle body and the vent tube being towards the front of the intake now instead. Thats why I was wantering about the code. Not the actual colder air. I’m 99.9% sure it won’t do anything but its that .01% that I may not know about.
Other option would be to put the cryo tube at the end by the filter but the air would heat back up too much between there and the throttle body so it sort of defeats the purpose.
call me some time?
i thought thoes things were for intercoolers
what do you want me to call you :dunno:
In all seriousness I don’t think it would be a problem unless you do. Don’t worry I will need plenty of help and already asked sam last night when I get the valves, springs, rokers and Cam. just waiting on the cam and spring release from Crane which should be some time in the next 3 months acording to Gary Howell. They already have the rockers avalible and the valves I can get from Car Customs.
I did call you 3 times, first for the throttle body, second for the brake line problem, third to ask if you were done with my wife :hs:
sorry but i wouldnt have ur wife!
read my other post about this earlier in the thread when snowwhitegolf asked about it. They have a part that is an intercoller sprayer.
I dont think moving the IAT close to the TB will do any harm. But why are you going to move the vent hose to where the IAT is? Or why not leave everything how it is and just tap into the intake before where the IAT is stock?
Because both sections of the intake are exactly the same minus the nipple for the vent hose, and the hole for the IAT. all i have to do is flop it arroung, No patching, no welding the hole closed or plugging it nothing. will take two seconds to do instead of all the other work.
Pewter has some super secret information I have to call him tomarrow about so we’ll see if that changes :scared:
and then your going to drill and tape a hole in the intake for the nozzle on the cryo2?
no Look at the picture with the cyro tank on my desk. To the left there is a 4 inch long, 3 inch diameter tube with a blue sleave on it. That is a insert and it has the bulb inside that. go to the DEI site I listed and they have a cross section of it.
That CryO2 intake piece is going right in the center of my current intake where I have the blue coupler. So instead of One coupler you will see two there when its installed.
oh i got yea now. Yea moving the IAT closer shouldnt be a problem, but you might want to pick up a new one from autozone, there like 10 bucks tops and they are made of brass, not like the cheap plastic one.
