X100. That situation sucks, but just suck it up and drive the thing. A new GTI isn’t exactly the worst car in the world. If you buy a beater, you’re going to be paying extra insurance, the price of the car, plus maintenance, etc. You may as well enjoy the brand new car if you’re paying for it, my $.02.
