What about those with OEM turbo motors swapped into non USDM NA cars?? Ie. 240sx etc.
Yeah right Paul Vestor is a dick. He was giving me shit telling me I need padding on the side bars when it does not specify in the rule book that you need padding where you arms are just where you head might come into contact. He gives a lot of people shit at Lancaster, I guess you have to get on his good side. Anyway those are NHRA rules, Lancaster and NYI are IHRA tracks which follow a different rule book.
i’d think that would fall under the non oem turbo rules then. i could be wrong tho
He isnt a bad dude…like you said just get on his good side
anyway i look at it i’m going to get one run before i get kicked out. just because i refuse to put a cage/roll bar in the car at this point.
so fuck em all … i’ll just go to NYI and run the 1/8th lol shut down brake hard and run a 15 something
You guys are stupid bastards, and you talk like a bunch of school girls.
where did u find this rule cause i looke don the NHRA site and it says nothin about it and i know someone that has the 2006 rule book and it dont say it in there either?!?!
That is the suck, so basicly anyone with a power adder, or anyone a little fast needs a jacket? :gay:
I dont see the difference between a stock turbo car and a NON OEM turbo car. Fire is fire. This should be mandated for all cars if they are truly worried about safety. They must have seen how many cobbled together cars go out on a night who knows.
I dunno, in the interest of safety, I might buy a jacket anyways.
It’s never a bad thing to error on the side of safety.
this has to be false cause its not even on the NHRA website under rule changes for 06
here are all the rule changes
