I posted the exact steps for linking xbox live to netflix. I’m not kidding guys, it really is that easy.
Assuming you have live, a netflix sub and have added some stuff to your “Instant” queue on netflix.com:
- Boot up xbox, go to video section, select netflix. If it’s the first time it asks you to download the tiny netflix app. Click download, it downloads in about 2 seconds, click “play now”
- The netflix app launches and asks if you want to start a netflix trial or if you already have an account. You select already have account, it gives you a 5 or 6 digit code and tells you to go to http://netflix.com/activate. Go there, enter the code, 3 seconds later the xbox jumps to what ever movies you have in your instant queue from netflix.com.
That’s it. It just works. :tup: to MS.
Not sure how SD stuff looks because I only had two things in my instant queue, a movie that when I selected it started in HD (and looked great) and CSI that I added just to see how something I knew was in HD would look. Plus, I knew the first episode of this season was a dark alley scene which would really show artifacts if they were trying to compress it much.
