very tempted to get netflix up and running.
It’s just the center channel, and I got a real good deal on it. But yeah, a nice matched set of home theater speakers is on my list of things to buy in the next year.
Everything I’ve read says netflix is dumping a ton of money into expanding the number of titles available for instant viewing so this could turn into a major gain for MS.
this is rediculous.
my dad who is HUGE into stuff, like HD, blu-ray, 6.1 sound systems is absolutely in awe that it works flawlessly and that it’s even capable of doing what it’s doing.
I select “add to my instants” and i run upstairs and the movie is already available to watch. :tup:
any one using an xbox with the wireless adapter to stream?
Is the “HD” genre, really this shitty for instant viewing? I can’t find anything good, except TV series.
The SD Boiler Room movie i streamed, looked fine though. Not HD, but definitely on par.

maybe 175 tv shows and movies…some garbage some junk
like i said before, even though boiler room was SD, it still looked like i was watching an sd tv channel like HBO…quality was excellent. Not HD, but it was damn good.
not too shabby, i bet they will release alot more HD stuff soon.
I dont watch SD anymore, except sabres away games, so i cant really comment on the quality 
for under ten bucks a month, i’m definitely going to get some use out of it…thats not even including me having new movies mailed to me.

Browsing around netflix.com it looks like their HD is pretty lacking in the movie department. I’m sure that will be increasing.
Like Beck said, this is absolutely amazing how well it works. When I got back to work I spent a good 15 minutes talking about it with other 360 owners. This is netflix first shoot at HD streaming and it works perfectly. It doesn’t surprise me that there aren’t a ton of movies available right now considering that as of yesterday they flat out didn’t support HD streaming. Give it a couple months and see what’s available then.

so i got my netflix all set up but the picture quality is meh at best should we just assume im poor and need better internetz or is this a problem other people are having
Bunch of lazy fucks ye all are. If all goes smoothly, then yes I’ll do it. 
Go see what your download speed is. I’m hitting around 10mb down at home, xbox hard wired to the router.
Also, what are you trying to watch? Is it something available in HD like CSI?
