my 1TB external took a shit so ive been downloading sparingly while i wait for my RMA. 320 on my laptop was filled in no time with 2100KB/s download.
So you need an invitation plus you have to pay? I’m confused lol. I use torrents right now, but if this is indeed so much better I wouldn’t mind paying $12 bucks for it.
You pay $12 for the year for the search engine but you also have to pay for newsgroup access from someone like giganews or newhosting. So that’s $15 or so a month.
The biggest problem I have now is that the search engines don’t match the retention of the hosting. Giga is up to 502 days and newshosting is up to 481 days. Newzbin only searches something like 240 days.
I noticed that too. When I used the raw search option instead of just newzbin, I did come up with some 400+ day articles.
Trying out alt.binz now. Lots more set up options.
