Newman's 1986 BMW 326rb build thread.

meh, thats nice and all, but it’s lacking…color. lol

I would just feel bad cause I would destroy the thing.

Not that I’m doubting your car killing abilities. But short of rolling it/running it into many things, I would assume that car would be able to take some serious driving punishment…

Brent, this is the car that we turned left in the walmart parking lot and it would POUR smoke out, right? If so, it makes this project 100x cooler

Yeah it is ahaha

Helllll ya. Freakin thing sucked ass. The engine was totally shot, but at least the body was clean. It could have never hoped for a fate this cool.

From a while back…but man, you could have been soooooooooooooooo much more baller!!

I wonder if breaking in to the shop at night and plasma cutting the car into 1 foot cubes would make him kill himself or just break into hysterical laughter

Not done yet, but it’s getting there…

Could you make that a bit smaller?

Was that a quickwire reference?

Also, everything green needs to be wired, everything black is prewired in the EFI harness.

Yeah haha

Curious but what was/is the intended purpose for this car? Obviously it’s going to be track use but since Dunnville is a no-go, have you decided on where you might track it now?

No idea. I mostly wanna drive it on the street.

pretty please re-host it for all of us at work?

a little more done:

I wonder if its worth doing this for my truck…

If you are rewiring the whole thing, yes.

no, not really. just powering up the sr20 harness with the s10 harness. lol. i wish it was as simple as it sounds.

I know its a little OT, but are the badges on the finished car going to be BMW or Nissan or skip the badges completely?
