Threw the wheels on to see what tires would fit. These tires are going to be REALLY close… I don’t have the fender here, so I had to kind of wing it, but I ordered the narrower of the two that I thought would fit. They’re pretty cheap, so I can always upsize…

I like those wheels. Who do you buy through? I want to get a nice 5 spoke 17x8+35 18x9+35 but I am having a hard time finding a good selection to choose from. At this point I just want to see what is available, any suggestions on where to look?

Yep. I think a set of Equips I priced up a few months was 4300+ shipping. The styling just did not look right for me. I really want a basic 5 spoke. Not a fan of the riveted look on a 5-spoke. I really like the Liquid Metal F5 style but they won’t make my size. Fikse Profil5 was my next choice. I am just expanding my search…

I Priced up the MEISTER S2s when I was on my split spoke kick. I liked the EQUIP as well.
I just wish they did not have the rivets.
I want a one piece “Look” (w/o rivets) like these Fikse Profil 5s. But, the spokes are too wide for the MR2 IMO and I don’t like the sunken hub.
Here are the Liquid Metal style I like, the F5, but again with the Rivets:
Yeah yeah, 2 or 3 piece wheel need rivets normally, blah blah wheel falls off. I hate the look. Do you know of a rim that is similar to this one without the rivet look? I like the narrowing spokes, lip, and somewhat flush hub. I can’t believe it is this hard to find. But I looked at RB and Discount Tire but no luck. I also checked the MFGs Website (American Racing, Voxx, Enkei, Liquid Metal, etc…) and still nothing I like.
Well you can get meister S1s in 2 OR 3 pc… I had 2 pc, no rivets.

Yeah. I had meister S1 2pc (which are welded and have no rivets) in a matte gunmetal finish. I think my 18x9s were 3200 shipped new. 4 month wait tho.
I don’t mind the wait. The problem is for what I want (17x8+35 and 18x9+35) I have a limited selection outside of getting them custom made anyways so the price is really not the issues either. I figure if I can get a set for ~3g I would be good.
Besides what I already know (ie. Advan, Blitz, Work, and Fikse) are there some other sources to look at?
I tried AutoRnD.com but their site is down. I shot them an email with a pic for an idea.
