You’re weird, Nick…
dubbya tee?
you forgot the wife didnt you??

Assuming you trust UPS and FedEx to actually get it there on time.
Getting it there on time shouldn’t be a big deal. Getting it there in once piece is quite another. UPS = the suxor for damaging packages
FedEX is better, but the other day at work we got a FedEX of a display shelf for a trade show. The GLASS shelves were packaged seperately. All but 2 were totally shattered. There were 8 all together. And I do mean shattered…like every piece was the size of a pebble shattered.
lol i work for a major shipping company and im not going to comment on this topic…
I recieve an average of 2 packages/week at my home for the last 8-10 months. 80% of which have been UPS. The rest FEDEX with a sparse mix of DHL.
Of these shipments, UPS > *.
I tip my UPS Guy as he is cool as shit and takes special care of leaving my stuff in the garage / in the back of the house / whereever I need… even though he is the last guy in a long chain of course.
I have had ONE problem with UPS this year… and it was minor. I have literally had hundreds of packages this year.
1.90 Lbs could very well be a dildo.
it very well could be…
on another note, an old roomate of ours worked overnights at the UPS hub on Bailey for a few months… he admittedly wrecked ALOT of shit. I remeber him telling me how he got pissed off at large Dell shipments and threw/kicked/slammed alot of boxes…
it really is a matter of luck. And the insurance process is for naught.
that unpossible i dont believe it!!!
lol if only you have seen some of the things i see happen…
and off topic, i found out my parents had bought a computer off the internet and i was terrified for them when i realized it was being shipped, well needless to say the monitor was shot and ended up being an insurance claim, no real hassle though just took a few days to get another one sent out
:word:
I worry when I order sensitive breakables… but most of the items are either light and decently packed, or rather sturdy.
or small… in this case.
