There’s good sounding V6s - they just need to be plumbed correctly.
First-gen Taurus SHOs with the Yamaha V6 sound nice, especially over 4K RPM. My 300M Special has a nice set of factory post-cat duals with twin mufflers and dual resonators… sounds like a small-block at idle, burbly, and only starts getting thrashy at the rev limiter.
It’s ALL about firing order.
