Opinions / experiences? My dad is looking at one for a daily / work / light delivery vehicle. I don’t know if anyone here has one but I’d appreciate your input :tup:

parents just bought one, fully loaded, coming from an edge limited. its only 3 months old but so far they love it.
One of buddies just got one. Seems like a great car. He raves about the transmission.
I don’t really know what the nuances or issues with them are, though.
Yeah the transmission is definitely a different feel. You expect the vehicle to pause and shift but it just keeps pulling.
I know the early Muranos had some issues with the CVT but I figure Nissan has been using them for so long now that most of the quirks should be worked out.
I’ve been inside one for a ride, and seemed fine as far as a passenger can tell. I wouldn’t go around telling people how awesome it was, but for a work/daily car it’s cool.
Sarah wants one… my experience with Nissan has not been a positive one.
I really like the cvt in our Murano, at least for the type of vehicle it is. Super smooth and really responsive to throttle. I’ll stick with my manual 6 speed for fun though.
