That kinda sucks. Suzuki has many loyal riders that buy a brand new bike every 2-3 years. Now they get left hanging. That could hurt the company if the loyal riders decide a competitor is more appealing to them now.
On the other side, if there really is a surplus of 2009’s, maybe the lower prices will spark a buying spree. Then as the 2009’s become harder to find, a hopefully totally redesigned 2011 model will be more in demand.
I guess only time will tell.
