no fuel pressure?!

problem: on cold starts the coupe has trouble firing up. even before the sr swap, walbro, etc… which we think eliminates almost everything as a culprit except the fuel sending unit and lines.

we also just installed an air/fuel gauge and it’s reading lean… always, even when on the throttle.

what should proper fuel pressure be? how would we test for that? will an adjustable fuel pressure regulator help? we’re gonna try using a different sending unit… perhaps the lines just need to be cleaned out?

does anyone have any thoughts?

Check the fuel sending unit. There very comom for corotion causing high resistance and sometimes breaking the wire off the unit. Fuel presure I think is beteen 30-40 psi not sure though. As for the fuel presure regulator my buddy is not running one with his sr.

S13 SR fuel pressure should be at 3 bar or 43.5 PSI with vacuum line disconnected.

If your air/fuel Gauge is not a Wideband through it in the trash.
