No Love for Honda?

I would rather own a Nissan that’s worth $5,000 than a Honda that’s worth $30,000. End of story.

Oh I’m not denying that Hondas aren’t good cars… I have no problem with Honda… I just don’t like the “user base” they attract (for the most part)

Buddy, my s13 eats integra’s and preludes for breakfast, its not even funny anymore to make you lamers look stupid. You keep dumping money into your rsx, realize that we only paid less than half of what you paid and our cars blow your doors off.

ANY car can be modified. No matter what base you use. whether it be nissan, honda, ford.

some cars are better suited for different type of driving.
ie Mustangs for drag/straight line speed.
ae86/240 for drifting
ect…

240’s are great on the track (gripping) but honda/acura’s are pretty damn quick too.

so what if your nissan blows the doors off integra/rsx?
a ford mustang can blow the shit out of nissan’s for even less money.

i don’t understand why some of you just can’t admit that honda’s can be very competitve when modified properly.

I’ve seen stock SR’s running 10psi on a T25 spank 5.0L’s… Fords arent quick… I’ve seen enough street driven 5.0L to entail this comment…

240sx community is starting to become how we thought about civics and intergras. More and more ppl are getting 240sx trowing an SR and turbocharge it and spend about 10G on the car. Ive heard many ppl nowadays speaking about nissan 240sx about how there are many done up ones and many are stating that the 240sx community is becoming as annoying now as it was with civics back then.

Ive had my car for about 3 years now and back then i barely noticed any 240’s on the road nor even know about drifting, SR motors because that was all new to me in the last couple years when everyone heard about drifting it was a huge rush of "lets get a 240sx, sr and turbo it and lets go drifting.

Now im pretty much thinking of giving up my 240 because of this lol…

im not complaining about the situation but ppl shouldnt be saying that civics are slow or stangs are slow or whatever… Anything done properly can make great cars. Ive seen geo metros and swifts done up and are amazingly quick cars and it all depends on the driver because a stock mustang depending on the year of the car can do under 15’s stock as well as almost any new car these days.

PS. I saw a Lexus LS430 yesterday with the funniest NON-custom licence plate. It was the older type 3 numbers space 3 letters, and it spelt 400 WHP. Car was obviously not modded and a guy old enough to be my grandpa was driving it, so that’s enough reason for me to believe that the plate is a real number plate and a total coincidence… But what a coincidence! :smiley:

I dunno where you guys live but for every 240sx I see, theres like 50 hatchbacks riding around. I have nothing against honda, but if you’re going to do it, do it RIGHT.

If I see a 240 with a coffee can in the back and white rims and it sounds like its farting when it accelerates, I’m going to laugh just as much as I would if it were a civic.

Honda, Nissan, same shit, point is just do it right. After that its just preference.

why are you referring to me like your stock s13 can beat my type-s? I will give you school bus’s without any oil in my engine for vtec to engage. Even stock sr20det has no chance. ITR will rip you a new hole and so will preludes. It’s hilarious how it takes 2.4L to run a 16.5 at the track… my 2L runs 15 flat N/A… add turbo kit(approx 4,000$ cdn installed) and i’m in 12’s and still have a 20,000$+ resale value… sasha is puttin down 380rwhp and he can’t even break 12’s… and look at how much money!! (although his car is sexy and i would not even hesitate to own it… was that worth it?)

it’d be a tough choice for me to make, no question… but i’d probably go with the rsx just because i love vtec, high reving motor and 6spd.
