MTO Registrations are a GO! Horray!
I was contacted by Flora at the MTO…
A bulletin was issued to all MTO offices instructing them how to register a JDM car and what to look for. I gave them the import Form 1 doc, deregistration doc/export doc, and certificate of origin as an example.
So any MTO should be able to register your car now; 11 digit VIN is not a problem.
IF you do have a problem, tell the MTO office to contact the MTO hotline and or refer to the “D&D News” bulletin issued this afternoon April 27th 2006.
