No more SS Cobalt..

LoL

i think the cobalt has good crash tests so maybe it was a weird hit

Seems to be a good car. The compression seems a bit high to me for a F/I application. Only time will tell until we see the real price. If I were in the market for a fun car, I would consider it.

Damn, am I actually sitting here wanting a Cobalt!?!?! Gonna be tough to go from the IS250 to the Cobalt though. But the IS is pretty slow but ohhhhh so nice. Hmm.

I’m wondering how the “no lift shift” thing plays out. Seems like it could be a cool feature but it could also just be annoying. I’m curious exactly which functions the NLS algorithm controls.

It must be triggered based on the clutch disengagement? Does the computer just hold throttle until it determines that you’ve passed a shifter gate at which point it quickly modifies throttle (downward I guess since this is only for upshifting?) trying to match revs before you bring the clutch back or…? Hopefully it’s smart enough to not interfere or delay throttle application if you’re actually trying to downshift. I’d like to hear someone fully explain the system.

is there goin to be a G5 version of this? personally, i like the G5 styling better than the cobalt.
