Hey guys
I’ve never looked into the street tire fitment phenomenon so I don’t really know what type of fitments are possible. I’m hoping some of you guys can enlighten me.
I’m about to buy some 18x9 rims but I have an existing set of Venturi RS z212 225/40/18’s. I need to know if these would fit or if I need a new set of tires completely.

The tires will fit. Personally I wouldn’t go much narrower on the rubber for a 9" rim, but I’ve seen it done.
It’ll be a mild stretch, and should look decent, but if you’re gonna stretch, make sure your rims are flush as hell.
All I can say is that the drifters will tell you that your stretch is weak and the grip guys will tell you that your stretch is gay.
