It’s the t-tops that sold me. I loved every second of it. I plugged in my phone and cranked the tunes. My dad was next to me in his 1.4L Turbo Malibu and we were neck and neck from transit/maple to transit/sheridan lmao

I hate the fart cannon look, the quad tips or straight pipes look the best.

this is my fav but it’s no longer made. I’m starting to come around on the quad tip

I was at Licata’s today and mentioned to Russ the owner that we sent ya there :+1:

My NA had the following mods:

  • UR pulley
  • HKS hyper exhaust
  • Test pipes
  • Single filter JWT POP intake
  • HKS ALC (for auto trans)
  • 1.5" lowering springs
  • A bunch of suspension upgrades
  • SS brake lines

I didn’t get a chip because it was too expensive at the time for the gains.

One IMPORTANT thing to keep in mind is when the weather gets cold, if you smell gas you have a small fuel leak from the old rubber fuel lines. This won’t happen in the summer. It’s mainly a cold weather issue if the lines are old.

And if you store it over the winter, when you get inside after a few months it’ll smell AMAZING due to the natural leather. I love that smell, lol.

I’ll be doing all these! My biggest issue is figuring out what wheels I can buy that’ll fit nice without sticking out, I’ve never needed to deal with offset and this shit is giving me a headache. I’ll probably do 18s.

Looking at these - https://www.ebay.com/i/372170974615?norover=1&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]&siteid=0&ipn=admain2&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-158885-639833-3&mkcid=4&placement=532140&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5pvHjtP06QIVyUMMCh1aLAgGEAEYASABEgLJO_D_BwE

Anything bigger than 18" just looks off on these cars IMO. Do some image searching and you’ll see.

You need to pay attention to the offset and back spacing otherwise you’ll end up needing a spacer to clear the front calipers, as well as longer wheel studs to keep proper thread engagement.

When I bought my wheels I had @Inn-Tune help me. That was like a decade ago, lol. They didn’t make the wheels I wanted in the proper offset so I’m running a 5mm spacer up front. And my caliper clearance is legendary. Fits a sheet of paper in between the caliper and spokes, but only when the caliper is at operating temp. Track temps actually caused scalloping on the inside of the wheels.

I can’t remember if there are any good wheel resources out there but I’ll look.

I’ve been going through the forums and people are split on 17s and 18s 50/50

Funny enough found out today there’s a guy at my work with a 1990 but maroon, says he has 19s, 275 in back, non-turbo, but they stick out a bit, which I think looks silly

Who’s the guy that had the super clean green one? That car was gorgeous.

Oh yeah, he was a contractor I think. Let me borrow a couple nail guns when I did my roof.

That was @1QIKZ

Miss it every day. Trust me.

@1QIKZ where’d it end up?

That’s more a function of the offset / backspace. I have 18x10 295 in the rear and they don’t stick out.

Think they were from Jersey. Brought a trailer and cash. Gone.

I’d love to get this thing over at Licatta’s but the fucking DMV is a pain in my cock. I filled out the reservation thing online last week and still no one has called.

Can I just walk up???

Nope unless your a dealership and even then they can only go on Tuesdays. You have to wait for them to call. Took my friend 2 weeks to get in to the Cheektowaga location

Fuck me wtf I drive by and I always see the lot is full
