It’s in Holland and I was wondering if anyone’s gone their before, if they let you go into their yard and are they fairly priced or just complete a-holes about everything.
i dont believe they will let you in, i live down the road from them. only thing i bought from there was a rear sliding window for a 99 ranger, its was 75 bucks. they are a legit junkyard, meaning they dont deal with bs like the ones downtown.
I was there before. They are ok. If the part is on a car they will let you take a look at it… someone comes with. They are bitchy about their prices sometimes but a decent yard.
They are the most comprehensive yard in WNY.
They will not let you in. And will not bargain with you.
Yeah they’re yard looks well maintained and I sorta figured they are a bit pricey. Oh well I guess I won’t bother going. I don’t feel like being escorted or argue over prices. Thanks for the info.
very well maintained is an understatement, they pride themselves on an aerial shot of how neat and in order there cars are, its quite hilarious.
its not bad. i got a super clean bellhousing from them for 75$. they even degreased it for me.
You weren’t kidding:
its a nice place, they have a ton of stuff
they’re dickheads though. that one guy that always works the counter suuuuuuucks. they won’t haggle over prices, and their prices are often high since they have to pay one of their guys to go pull the shit instead of letting you do it
is that on vermont hill road? it looks like it. i live in holland and have never been there. i like you pull it places.
Don and Mikie are good people. They are not some crappy little yard. They deal mostly in late models.
assholes, high prices, talk to you like your stupid. I live close by, gave them a few chances, always the same. Never again will I go there.
they treated me good when i needed a bunch of misc pieces for my transmission swap, even let me take a ride out into the yard with one of the “pullers” to mark exactly what i needed… even saved all teh bolts in baggies for me cuz i asked…
I’ve run out there for a couple of misc, (hard to find locally), parts. No complaints here.
It is what it is, you need it & they have it.
If memory serves me proper, they have a red 91 MR2 there…
Don is a super nice guy.
Mike definately should not be in a customer service type job.:biglaugh:
I know the owner, he is a good guy and they r very clean and organized there.
they were good to me…looked up what i needed gave me a print out and one of the pullers and I scoped out the best parts of the selection
I have had good and bad experiences there
The bad one was when he wanted $120 for a motor mount that cost $89 at the dealer, when I told him that he gave me a sob story saying that he needs to pay the pullers, electricity, insurance etc.
I looked at him and laughed which is when he got really pissed, said thank you and got the part at the dealer
I just came in here to check if OP misspelled “newer”
