I got pulled pulled over by a trooper on 90 west yesterday for my tint. He metered it and it read 50. He said the legal limit is 70 so I was close and he’s not gonna bust my balls and he let me go.
I thought the legal limit was 30. Can anyone clarify?
Tropper is right legal limit on front windows in 70% back windows can be 5% if desired

So my fronts are too dark.
And my rears are even darker, so they are illegal too.
I have been warned a couple times in the past, but this was the first time they have been metered. Now I know.
That’s why I try to keep nc registration on my junk… Our limit is 35

I got pulled over on 90 in the beginning of the summer with my G8 for tint and other stuff. Had 5% all around… Tickets.
Get pulled over for tint, fill out a fix it form signed by a cop. Never a ticket. Fronts still match my rear windows at 20%
