As stated, I realize most of the women are older, but at least they are real women who get out to the track and can talk shop. Most of the males on Rennlist (huge online Porsche community) are older gentleman who appreciate that, and are paying upwards of $200 a pop for the calendar… not really something I’d expect to see from anyone on NYSpeed, but I’m trying to do what I can to help raise money. Last year the calendar raised over $10,000 for charity… nothing to snub your nose at.
Okay, I couldn’t watch pass the third lap because I was tired of seeing the same turns, lol.
But in the third lap he does hit a 1:15 (very roughly) with a pass… and if he’d clean up his line, I could see him lowering that number.
I could see it. The car had some decent R comps on it from what I remember, and definitely has some decent power. The driver seemed to have some experience too.
I need alot more seat time. Me in the miata VS MPD in my miata…He kinda destroys me.

WOT through there (1st lap, 2nd I was allowing LONG pauses between shifts as the engine was cutting out BAD), granted, short-shifting cuz of the crank-position-sensor problem (I think I exit onto the straight in 5th gear) so its less power but still that was nowhere near a 10-10ths lap by any stretch…
excuse the terrible driving (my lift-and-catch oversteer on the outlap for one lol) I was more interesting in figuring out WTF was wrong w/ my car
