So why would anyone be opposed to what is proposed above? seems perfectly reasonable to me… why send the national guard who is trained to fight to hurricane country to help out when a civilian organization could do it better and cheaper?
volunteer fire fighting, EMT/EMS would all fall under this, and most importantly free training. Isn’t that one thing that could really help some people who have zero education and don’t want one… on the job training on how to do something productive?
This is not a new idea, lots of countries have been using this method (but primarily for the Military and not Civilian organizations) Israel, Japan, Korea, France…

Why is it BlueFaggot fails to read that what the guy is talking about is Civil Service in this country. Prepping younger generations on how to handle crisis and have prepared society? I think it is a great idea and btw… Oama DID talk about this quite often in how he wanted to get the youth more involved with civil service stints and making them attractive to people to do
I would NEVER serve for this country in its pointless wars.
Now if we were invaded and the war was in our public streets, I’d be out there blasting away.
