That being said…my thought is pretty simple.
They lose Briere and Drury…about 90 goals
82 games…losing by a goal or so a night
Noone has picked up the slack…connolly is not briere unfortunately.
And everyone else is off pace. 8th place would be a miracle at this point.
Well, we all knew a short handed goal by Ottawa was coming at some point the way the PP was looking. Be lucky if they don’t get another one. Our power play before the one they scored on we had 0 shots and they had at least 3 odd man rushes. How fucking pathetic is that?
And why the fuck is Peters on this team? He can’t fight, he can’t play, and when ever he’s dressed it’s like playing a short bench since he’s only on the ice 2-3 minutes a game.
