+1. Last year he was on the Peters/Mair line. No kidding he did so poorly. This year at least he has Kotalik there. A line of Connelly/Kotalik/Afinogenov would be so much better but Timmy seems to be made out of glass.

its one loss EVERYBODY CALM DOWN, cept coldaccord he knows his hockey!
As of right now if we were to stay on this course we would have over 120 points by the end of the season.
The National Hockey League is reportedly investigating an incident involving Buffalo Sabres center Adam Mair following Monday night’s 5-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators.
According to the Ottawa Sun, an NHL official has confirmed the league is reviewing a report that Mair tried to get at Senators right wing Chris Neil in an HSBC Arena hallway following the game.
Animosities between the two Northeast Division rivals are nothing new. In 2001 while playing for the Los Angeles Kings, Mair received a 10-game suspension when he left the bench to aid teammate Mikko Eloranta, who was fighting with Neil.
Monday night, Mair and Neil both received misconduct penalties with 1:48 remaining after Neil had fought with Sabres left wing Andrew Peters earlier in the third period.
Mair was observed shouting in the hallway toward the Ottawa dressing room after the game.
According to a published report, Mair was stopped from reaching his target (Neil was not in the hallway) by Senators winger Jarkko Ruutu, defenseman Luke Richardson and team director of communications Phil Legault.
Mair was not made available to the media following the game and the Sabres — who next play at home Thursday night against Tampa Bay — did not practice on Tuesday.
“They’ll review it all and the right thing will be done,” Ottawa coach Craig Hartsburg said Tuesday. “But, it’s obviously not a good situation.”
A little more info from the Buffalo News.
Here’s a part of what happened
Jarkko Ruutu is a bum… i even hated him when he was with Vancouver, he’s a cheapshot artist and a half
then he wines like a baby afterwards
I never knew what a temper Mair had… I love it. He is a decent fighter too.
anyone else agree with me that Peters needs to get some fighting Lessons from Rob Ray aka Rayzor?

Mair was fined $2500 for the incident. No, I didn’t leave out any zeros.

That’s because even the NHL knows Neil is a huge douche.
Goose and tallinder back for tonight’s game!
