And I have to say that at first I liked Rivet but the more he plays the more I see that he doesn’t fit with this team. He’s too slow and at times seems almost lazy, 3 times in this game he did not skate for the puck and allowed the pens to get the puck in the corner on a shoot in.
In fact the whole defense can step it up.
yea every game i see spacek right infront of the guy who scores and he does nothing but stand there or get caught up and the forward slips right by him with the puck
QFT…Spacek sucks. He is terrible on defense and always lets the puck slip over the line on the point…Get rid of him…Maxipad needs to leave also.
Normally I disagree about max but if he doesn’t get it together its time to go. I think he is the longest oldest team member as far as being on the team, I could be wrong.
If he scores under 25 goals then its time to go.

Honestly I like max alot and he is one of , if not my favorite player in the entire league. But he just simply does not fit with the sabres anymore. We are a younger team and a slower team( for the most part), simple as that. The style he plays is an overly fast paced game. Similar to most russian players.The plays he trys to make are way too fast and enhanced for most of the team to comprehend and be compatable with. He passes too fast, he skates too fast and he shoots too fast, plain and simple.Itl kill me if we trade him at the dead line but his chemistry doesn’t fit our team. Throw him on the red wings with datsyuk or zetterberg and he will dominate the league.

best assessment of max I have seen on this board. i agree wholeheartedly, though I don’t think he would fit on the wings. more veteran team with classic breakout and regroup style, don’t think he would work. I could see him on the caps or something maybe. though with the wings he would be reunited with conks, who is fucking sick btw
