I think you’re right. Def the canadiens
He was really close to making that his second.
Wasnt that on Hasek?
Nope, he tried the “around the world” on Hasek, I think.
Here’s the youtube of it
God, that was fucking awesome.
Correct…scored too
questioning yourself as to whether you are a real hockey fan or a bandwagon sabres fan? just ask yourself; did you turn the game off?
:word:
The game stayed on. I was upset and was starting to get mad that I’d be mad for two more days. Then, we started changing things around and I cheered loudly by myself ![]()
<— FAN.
stayed on,
Lindy Ruff still needs to be replaced
Why? It’s clearly the players who are inconsistent.
did you notice the difference between how the team was playing before the first goal they scored, and then from that point on? now relate that to the chicago game, where they never woke up ![]()
The guy can no longer lead the team, better coaching would lead to more consistent play
Don’t know if I agree that Lindy is the problem. He’s been great for a while and I think it’s a little early to give up on him. We’ll see how they finish…
After the first goal, they believed they could win. Rule #1… NEVER let the other team think they can beat you.
I was impressed with how we turned around. At first, they seemed depressed about the night before, and were playing as such. Then, that “Hey, look what we can do!” attitude came out… and they triumphed.
The Blackhawks kept their A game the whole time, and it just seemed like the Sabres were always playing catch up, standing flat footed and just looked pathetic. They didn’t believe they could win, so they didn’t.
too early? i think he’s had his chances
Who do you suggest they replace him with?
I am not an expert in recruiting coaches, so idk.
But a fresh leader will do the team a lot of good.
you couldnt be more wrong… coaches are VERY hard to get established in the NHL… we are very VERY lucky to have lindy… he understands the players and the team dynamics better then anybody else… if we went with a new coach we would end up like the bills for a long time to come… hockey players are very finicky with their coaches.
The problems we are having right now is a bunch of players got too comfortable in their roles, and lindy did the right thing by benching his “star” players for the new kids, who are doing awesome
We need a new owner who will spend some $$ on players, but we do NOT need a new coach…:roflpicard:
eh, to each their own, but I disagree… Lindy has done nothing but good things for the sabres and will continue to do so. We deffinitly havent been very strong lately, but I wouldn’t throw all of the blame his way.
He makes mistakes, but his knowledge of the game and relationship with the team trumps that IMO. Plus he seems to have a great talent for building team chemistry for a lack of better words
