nhl.com/penguins always has streams :dunno:
I was at the game last night against the Caps and I did not get to see all the replays that I would have at home. I noticed (like in the past few games) Ovechkin was taking runs at Malkin. It seems there is some kind of hatred going on. Malkin claims he doesn’t know why and Ovechkin denies singling out Malkin. It is obvious Ovechkin wants to do more than just lay a good check on Malkin, but it seems like he will go out of his way to try to injure him. All I can think of maybe these guys take a lot of pride in who is the best player or whatever and it gets pretty competitive…but I seem to think something had to have happened between them two. One funny/good thing was when Gill stood up Ovechkin and then Ovechkin had a cross ice headstart and tried to take out Gill and he just stood there shrugged it off.
As for “solving this problem” I am sot sure if it can be solved. I don’t think we can send out Biznasty or Godard out to bring the pain to him and if Malkin tries to give it right back I think he will just get owned. Ovechkin is bigger, stronger, and a much better hitter than Malkin. Maybe it’s time for Geno to hit the weights hard and try to pack on some size so he can do a better job standing up for himself.
HAHAHA Biznasty…
I agree, it looks like Ovechkin has it out for Malkin. Maybe he’s out for Geno since he would come under more fire for going towards Crosby? I do not know what would be fueling a fued for either guy though. :dunno:
They had one of those 1 minute interview playing during a break and they asked him if he had a nickname…he said it was Biznasty…and he brought that shit to Bradley’s face.
Haha, on Pensblog they were joking that Geno messed with AO’s girlfriend back in Russia.

i think malkin is ok. besides, when ovechkin is running around the ice chasing after malkin, he is too busy to put the puck in the net.
normally, i agree 100% with your hockey opinions. but i dont think i agree that we should take one of the top 5 players in the world and turn him into our goon.
He doesn’t have to be a goon, but being able to hand out a shit load of free candy wouldn’t hurt.
Maybe you took me the wrong way…I just think for him to stick up for himslef he needs to be bigger…I realize he is young and will get bigger but during htis game when he tried to give it back a little or shrug off a hit from Ovechkin it was obvious his size was a problem. Maybe I am looking into it too much…I was talking to a guy here at work and he said all what Geno needs to do is pull a Gonchar last year and throw his elbow up when he takes a run at him…haha. That is a good point that if he is chasing around Geno then it will limit what he is doing against us…but I would hate to see Geno get hurt b/c this idiot is head hunting.
Geno should not have to fight and stand up for himself. That’s why we have dedicated goons. But for some reason, the goons are not allowed to beat the shit out of just anyone, they have to line up with another fighter. I say the next time the pens play the caps, goddard goes out and uses ovechkin as a punching bag for a few minutes to remind him that he should not be charging our players. Geno should do what he did last night, score.
And where were the ref’s? Those hits we pretty blatant penalties and should have been called. Someone is going to get hurt what that retard goes out and jumps to hit everyone he checks.
Since we played them a couple days ago:
Check out Brandon Sutter getting smoked by Doug Weight

GREAT GAME!
now we can trade him!!!
Best game so far this year. I wish the defense would help fleury a little more though, he was pretty much left alone with those shots coming at him. Hopefully this will give them some motivation for the next few months.
I could not believe how many empty seats there were at the arena when I was watching it on TV. You would think the prior year stanley cup matchup would draw a decent crowd.
