Boomin99GT:
Sweet. Did it look huge in person?
Off-Topic: I saw the 1st Shelby GT500 Super Snake in person yesterday. They had #1 and #58 at the car show I went to. I’m suprised how much they actually drive the car too. It already had like 8,000 miles on it.
yes it looked pretty big…i just wish they would of taken it on the track since we were at a pretty sweet track…o well

MPD47:
It’s on slicks, it has a flying start, and they stop the video a full 3 seconds before the timing lights they started at. Seems pretty straight forward to me? I dont deny the car is quick, but certainly not as fast as all the fanbois are claiming. Atleast it has a DSG type box so you dont have to worry about miss-shifts…
To add to this though, GM shows its ZR-1 time on Youtube at 7:26 WITH A RUNNING START and the time appears to stop before where Jim Mero starts the lap, but it is probably just the case that the clock is shown on the video a few seconds after the lap actually began
EDIT: Garage419 did a video camparo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZ-CNFpPCnk&feature=related
Is that a midget standing next to the car?
2 tenths behind the atom is pretty impressive seeing it weighs what, 1/3rd of the gtr? haha
my pants got a little tighter when he flew past the tires and the sound that thing made… ohhh

meh, power:weight is overrated when it comes to road course, imo.
i will second that!! man turbo nissans always sound sooo good
Wow.
Wow.
What are these cars going for at the dealerships?
Of all the things about this car the thing that impresses me most is the fact that they knurled the wheels to keep the tires in place!
WTF?
Is there any other production car that has knurled wheels?!?:biglaugh:
Changing tires must be fun.
haha, it corners so hard that it threw his neck out lol
GTR rear ended by R8 on Top Gear.
Repost?
Yeah they were filming / chasing and the R8 couldn’t stop fast enough and ran into the GTR. Same GTR the Stig drove on the test track too.
