This was more so my general feeling. I know he’s a talented player, but I pretty much lost all respect for the guy when he tried shooting a puck at Niedermeyer in the Ducks-Sens Cup finals of '07.
As a Buffalo Sabres fan, whom I would assume supports the team by buying merch and paying for tickets…you have no room to criticize anyone about being a scumbag when your favorite team writes Patrick Kaleta a paycheck every two weeks.
Cooke might be dirty/was dirty, but atleast he has talent (30+ pt, 14+ guy as opposed to Kaleta who gets half that in points and skates to a -4)

The NHL just informed me that #Sabres D-man Tyler Myers will not be fined or suspended for hitting Dainius Zubrus. Shanahan will call Myers.
So as long as the guy scores it’s ok? as long as he has a good +/-, stuff like this is fine right?
I’m not a fan of Kaleta, and I’d much rather see <insert Rochester player here> take his place in the lineup. If he could fight and be a clean player it’d be a different story.
Kaleta was always known as a shit starter, even back in the day when my brother played against him. He always talked a big game but really never put his fists where his mouth was. He was purely an instigator. We want more than an instigator… you need someone that is all around talented but will have muscle as well.

Out at least a month. It’s sad to see that after the last couple games he has stepped up more. It looked like scratching him had helped give him a kick in the ass, hopefully he comes back even stronger after this.
Maybe the Bills could try this method with the whole team. Bench everyone and play all 2nd and 3rd stringers. lol Hell, if we lose…nothing new right there anyways. hahaha At least it would be worth a try
As for Myers. Sucks to see a kid that finally starts to get his momentum back, he gets injured and now out for a little.

What the fuck. I am a Kaleta fan. Not sure if it is the whole St. Francis thing but I like that he plays physical. I lost some respect when he goes out and headbutts guys. That is bush league pussy shit. He doesnt need to do that, just use your shoulder and take runs at guys. That high stick was bullshit, if you watch it full speed, he was interfered with but I get it, you have to control your stick at all times. Disappointing when guys start getting reputations, they are fucked. Look at Roy and all his diving a few years ago. No he cant get a call. Hopefully they right the ship soon and give Boston what they should have given them last game.
BTW…Crosby came back last night…NHL.com had a small section on him…
