So sick of people saying 7 goals scored on the Sabres is the Coaches fault.
Yes, we need a new coach.
But I dont believe playing in the NHL the coach is going to be the reason 7 goals are scored. He does not touch the puck, poke check, fore check, make passes, take shots, hit guys…
Players in the NHL know the concept of the game and the basics and more. Any professional hockey team can play defense and break a puck out and fore check/back check… The coach just has a system. When you have guys out of position, some players chasing…etc. That is the player not doing their job. That causes goals.
The coaches job is to “TELL” them where to position or where to put the puck, or how hard to fore check… But its the job of the player to perform that duty. We just have a team that lacks strength and will power to go after the puck and to finish a play out/check someone.

Hodgson is going to be a beast. If Lindy can get his head out of his ass and let the kid play his game, he’ll be a #1 center by this time next year. Losing Gragnani is simply addition by subtraction. Guy was so fucking horrible.

Great moves at the last minute. I’m actually happy for Gaustad to get a chance to help the Preds. Kassian was such a lazy fuck down in Rochester, I hope Vancouver keeps in the AHL to make him earn his keep in the show.
Got a chance to see the game against the Rangers live at MSG this past weekend. Another awesome battle between the two teams, some great action. I was actually pretty surprised at how well the Sabres were moving the puck compared to the Rangers.
I’m a little sad to see Goose go, not the greatest of players, but he liked Buffalo tough gritty player and he didn’t make fun of our hotels.
Whether you like Darcy or not, he really cleaned up. Squeezing a 1st Rounder for a 3/4th line player BAHAHAHAHAHA. As Beck stated Kassian wasn’t living up to the expectations we had for him, both up here and in Rochester. He had his moments but other than that not much to brag about. M-A-Gragnani was a bowl of shit this year. I thought be played pretty well last year but this year he was just awful. I don’t know how he wasn’t a -100. Hodgson has 30+ pts already playing below the Sedins and Kessler, already has playoff experience, good size and…HE’S A CENTER. Darcy seriously made out like a bandit

Yeah if Miller plays like the past two games, there is no better goaltender in the league IMO. I was sweating bullets for the final 2 minutes last night. 19 - 63 - 21 line looks really good, thanks Darcy!
Watched the highlights, holy crap our defense is terrible. They were just running around and just letting guys stand in front of Miller or around the crease un-touched. All Miller the last 2+ games.
Keep in mind it’s our second west coast game back-to-back, and Regehr was hurt for part of the game.

Didn’t realize he was making so much. He’s slotted to make 6.7 million a year for the next 6 seasons after this but his contract includes a no trade clause. That’s almost as brutal as the Islanders signing DiPietro to 15 years.

What a fucking joke! 2 games in a row we blow a regulation win in the final 5 seconds. I guarantee the Sabres don’t come back from tonight’s loss, this was a back breaker. Winnipeg will win tonight and retake the 9th spot. They will have 3 more regulation wins than us, and the Caps have at least 8 on us. Watch this season come down to that tie breaker right there…unbelievable.
