k, figured it out… I used “Astro” to look at my file system while excel was open. I copied the file and pasted it in my download folder… what a pain in the ass. I still can’t edit it though and I don’t plan on paying to.
got an eris yesterday. So far I like it. ‘my location’ on google maps is inaccurate unless I have the gps enabled. I’m A little bit concerned about battery life. gonna try it out for a little while and consider going to the droid. My main issue with the droid was its size but after holding one a bit its not bad.
One thing I don’t miss about the crackberry…

they are dirt cheap on ebay. I got a car and wall charger for like 5 dollars or something.
is it a micro usb? thats the new standard a bunch of OEMs agreed to.

bought the app PhoneMyPC and love it, very similar to to logmein but since that is not available in the android market this is second best, plus its only $10
That’s pretty good. I just timed mine. 45 seconds from press the power button to network connected, Nokia Messaging is launched, and the whole thing is ready to rock.
Not that it matters. I never power this phone off.

the car charger is an old alltel charger. probably from another phone that uses microusb. the other is kinda no-name but it seems to work fine.
How I miss this?
There’s a built in widget that is “power options” or something like that.
Let’s you control all that from the main screen.
