The idea behind the the google thing is its not directly sending any content to the TV its just directing the Chromecast to Netflix/Pandora/Whatever

I missed most of the event today but this chromecast thing looks interesting. does it display anything you have up in your chrome browser like websites and stuff or is it just like youtube and other google things?

This will be perfect for me, i don’t have cable and usually do most of my media via XBMC (on the Raspberry pi), but I do have a slingbox attached to my Dad’s FiOS downstate. Due to slingboxes encryption I could never get it to work with XBMC, this will be great! Super pumped.

Plus i already use my Gs4 and Nexus 7 as remotes anyway lol
